Join as a Watchkeeper
We ask that our watchkeepers commit themselves to at least two watches a month(many do more).
You don't need any experience as we will make sure that you are familiar with all our equipment before letting you loose!
The main point of watchkeeping is to keep an eye out for and recognise any problems which might occur at sea or on the coastal path.
It is not an exclusively male occupation as 25% of our watchkeepers are ladies - we would welcome it if we could increase that persentage.
If you are interested in joining us we will arrange for you to visit the station to see exactly what we do before you make any commitment.- to do this you can:-
