CAPE CORNWALL TEAM ENJOY LOCAL FESTIVAL

15th July 2017. The NCI Cape Cornwall team joined in the fun of the Lafrowda Festival this weekend.

The Annual St Just Lafrowda Festival is one of the highlights of the year for the NCI Cape Cornwall team and this year was no exception. Their gazebo was one of the focal points in the main street, attracting many visitors who were keen to learn of the role played by their local station despite the overcast and damp weather.

Many of the Cape Cornwall team were involved and Station Manager Richard Saynor said “Many thanks to all involved. To Pete Munday, Pete Winterson and Hugh Thomas for the putting up and taking down of the stall. To Sarah Bell, Jennifer Tuson, Emma Lewis, Pauline Van der Hoff, Sheila Russell, Phil Oldfield, Roland Mannering, Ian Watling, Pete Munday, and Alan Macrea for manning the stall on Cape Cornwall Street and last, but by no means least, the ace bucket team of Elsie Ash and Jonathan Rothwell. Well done everyone”.

After a hard but enjoyable day’s work, NCI Cape Cornwall raised £565.52 at the festival.
