Incident Summary: 
NCI observed small yacht change course and beach. HMCG informed, CRT tasked.CRT contacted skipper, who had beached deliberately to get provisions. Vessel had just been purchased.
Equipment on vessel and fuel levels were inadequate, so harbourmaster towed casualty to boatyard.
